Pack softened butter tightly into the bell-shaped lid. Pour roughly 1 inch of cold, fresh water into the base. Place the lid into the base; the water creates an airtight seal that keeps butter soft and fresh for weeks.

This is a one of a kind ceramic dish created by my two hands on a pottery wheel. This piece is made of brown earthenware clay, kiln fired twice. Glazed with non-toxic glazes.
CARE - Dish washer safe but hand washing is recommended. Avoid contact with sharp objects and do not drop from height.
